Chile

The longest and thinnest country in the world — travelling within this country will take you from the Andes Mountains down to the Pacific. Travel here can range from the driest desert in the world (Atacama) to the wine region in the central valley to Patagonia in the south. It also has territories in Antarctica and Polynesia (Easter Island). It offers many ways to explore the country. Some areas are best explored by road, either with a private vehicle or on some of their modern buses. A visit to Chile requires an adequate amount of time on hand because travelling within this country does take a while, it is the longest country in the world, after all!
