I established Rao Travel in 2004 with the primary objective of offering personalized vacations that were designed especially for travelers who were looking for such services. My wealth of experience from working in the travel industry for a decade prior to establishing Rao Travel helped me facilitate meaningful partnerships with like-minded service providers, thus allowing this style of vacation planning to take root. I arrange for services with private guides, vehicles, local experiences and more, all combined to make a memorable vacation that stays with you for a long time.
My own travels have taken me to countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, Central, South and North America. Some trips were for work to forge better partnerships and some were on personal holidays with my family. Some of the countries I have visited are: Argentina, Austria, Greece, Italy & Spain (multiple trips to different regions), South Africa, India (several states across the country), Ireland (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland), Panama, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan and Iceland.
I enhance my product and destination knowledge by being in direct contact with tourism boards of countries and various tour companies. This gives me a sense for current market trends, and helps me keep abreast of new offerings within the industry. My goal is to turn your vacation dreams into realities!

Certified Travel Counselor (CTC)
This designation is the highest educational designation awarded in the travel industry, the equivalent of a master’s degree.
